Due to COVID-19, the Utah House of Representatives had passed a bill that there would be no in-person voting for Utah’s June 30, 2020 Primary election. Under a condensed timeline, we needed to convince the general public to conduct their voting by mail.
To us, voting by mail meant voting via convenience. We portrayed Utahn’s homes as a literal polling places where they could cast their vote before taming their bedhead or brewing their morning coffee. In the end, we wanted everyone to understand how easily their mailbox could become their ballot box.
